OK. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN LISTED ON EBAY, AND WILL BEGIN TO SHOW UP LATER TODAY. AUCTIONS WILL LAST FOR 1 WEEK AND END NEXT SUNDAY.

Ok, maybe I had this in the wrong forum?

Everything shown here in will be sold by month's end. I'm curious if there's anyone who would be able to ball park value the individual sets?

Hey, I'll post pics later when I can get everything cleaned up and shiney.

Here's a list of the toy's, all G1 that I have. I'm in the process of unpacking and sorting everything out.

The last time I looked at this collection, this included:
    All Tech Specs
    All Hardware and Accessories
    All original transformer instruction booklets

All toys are in good condition, and are un broken.

    Here's a list of names:
    Decepticons

    Pictures:
Combaticons: Onslaught, Brawl, Blast Off, Vortex and Swindle
    [IMG]

Protectobots: Blades, Streetwise, Groove, First Aid and Hot Spot

    Dinobots: Grimlock & Swoop

The rarest part of my collection by far is the three mail away transformers listed here, not counting Jazz of course.

    Autobots: Jazz
Mail away Autobots: Camshaft, Downshift and overdrive
    [IMG]

    Ok, I have a question.
Assuming everything is as collection complete as I recall it being, what would you BALLPARK value this collection at?

I've not touched these toys in years, and giving the current economic conditions, am considering parting ways with it.

Any input this community is willing to share would be appreciated.

    Ciao,
    Tragot

to be honest. it would be easier and better to sell each piece. except for maybe the combiners. But to try and unload the entire collection will be difficult to get the most money for each piece.

As of right now, it will probably go as the pictured sets, not one complete lot.

That's still up for debate though.

I believe you do. *looks over items* You're a shameless tease showing these types of items in this condition. *weeps silently to himself*

How much is this collection worth? Dear god in heaven, I think you could probably make at least 800 to 1000 dollars just selling the complete combiners individually on eBay.

As for the rest, hard to say. 30 bucks per Deluxe Insecticon, maybe 50 bucks for Beastbox and Squawktalk, 35 to 40 bucks for Ratbat (with the reissue coming out soon), at least a 100 dollars for Soundwave and the remaining cassettes, 35 to 60 dollars per complete Headmaster at least....yeesh, I'd say you're looking at at least another 800 to 1000 dollars.

Bottom line? If you invest the time and money into selling this, I'd say you're looking at a minimum profit of 2000 to 3000 dollars on eBay. With the recession and the element of chance involved in online auctions, it's hard to say.

So, you guys would recommend breaking this down and selling them as individual characters, and then the combiner sets??

    Absolutely.

And my reccomendation if you go ebay: Don't over charge on shipping. You will make more in the long run. I always make more than the average cost on an item I sell because I always charge exact shipping.

BTW, I need that Red Alert!!

What he said. I'd also emphasize (once you've checked to make sure it's an accurate claim, of course) that your combiners are complete and have all the individual accessories, guns, kibble, etc. :)

Everything starts at $1 and most of it doesn't have a reserve.

Buy it NOW prices are probably way high for those that I put on them.

eBay Seller: tragot: items on eBay.com

Auctions are pre-dated, they will start kicking in mid day tomorrow and are up for a week. There's a total of 66 of them, so have fun shopping.

Best time to start an auction

Since the end of next week is a long vacation it doesn't really matter
But it is best to start and end an auction on a weekend day... especially on
    a Sunday or maybe Saturday
More people are looking at your item that day and have time to waste
    bidding on said item
But since kiddies will be on vacation during the Monday your auction
should end next week... it should be okay

    Good luck on your sales
In this time and age you do have a great asset on your hand
    Hope you do well
