Not sure if this has talked about, did anyone else hear the G1 Transformation Sound mixed into the Audi's transformation during the Super Bowl Teaser, or was it just me? Is so, does this mean it's coming back?

1. The G1 transformation sound was clearly used multiple times in TF1, so it already "came back".

2. What you (and many others) think is the G1 transformation sound in the teaser trailer is actually part of the music... which should be obvious considering how many times it's heard throughout the WHOLE trailer and how it's not at all in sync with the Audi transforming. At best, it's a sampled version of the G1 transformation sound that has been manipulated.

Didn't one of the sound guys say that the sound is ALWAYS there? It was just impossible to hear sometimes?

 

Snikes... having seen the trailer only 4-5 times, I never really listened close to hear the classic G1 transformation sound... until you brought it up and I had to watch the trailer again. You're right... I could hear it as the Audi-bot transformed.

I guess the sound will be incorporated into ROTF after all... it's just a matter of listening very closely.

 

I didn't realise the sound had GONE in the first place
