I've been trying to google this and get some history on Tracks, but I'm basically curious if there was ever a blue tracks with a black head toy that was officially released somewhere. I know the diaclone version had a red body, I know there was black diaclone store exclusive in Finland, I know there was a red MB one until it was re-released blue, but did any of them have a black head?

As far as I know, all of the heads were white, with the exception of E-Hobby Road Rage (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Yeah, I'm fairly certain this is the case. The red MB version of Tracks is the only other example I can find: Milton Bradley and the TF Red Tracks

Do you mean the HEAD or the FACE?

I've got two G1 Tracks and they both have white heads and red faces. Someone told me once that they saw a black FACED one with a white head, but I've never seen that - never really went looking, either.

i've always only seen white... except on Road Rage... it'd be a fun idea to repaint one of my extra Tracks like that though...

I think the black face/white head one was on the advertisement for the 1990/1 Classics that featured on the back of the UK comic. Might have been a prototype. A lot of Actionmasters got radically different colour schemes in promotional shots in the 1991 UK catalogue.

If my comics weren't in storage, I'd check.

I mean face when I wrote this. On the box art his head is white but his face is black, and that was my curiosity. If it doesn't exist what is the box art based on?

Odd lighting when it was drawn? I mean, there was never actually a blue Bluestreak either, but...

that art was based on the blue diaclone toy, so in essence a blue bluestreak exist, just not in a transformer box

....one day i'll own that toy, it is a holy grail of mine, THE holy grail of mine, and one day i'll own a car just like it, with that beautiful color scheme....i wished that KO of bluestreak in those colors that was in the works would come out

it is just the box, as you can see, this is where the art came from
