Aw man, why did it have to be this show? This is the show I've been dying to get on DVD. I hope they can work around/fix whatever the problem is. I can deal with no opening theme song, but I would like the complete, unedited episodes on the DVDs.

 

Oh don't worry about him, the guy LOVED teaching. Was an awsome teacher too. If I had You Tube back in the day we probably should have uploaded our Tobaco Road Jam session, just an 8 minute groove. But we're talking ancient history here (91-92) I haven't picked up a guitar in 15 years.

As for what the tune was, I really don't recall. He played it once or twice, claimed he wrote it, told us all that we'd be fools if we thought learning to play the guitar would make us rich beyond our wildest dreams, and showed us the check he got for it which I remember not being much.

I went to school just outside NYC so it's not unplausable that the guy could've been doing evening studio sessions after school in Manhattan.
