I have both a US version of Sunstreaker and a Mexican IGA version. The IGA version have's a spring launcher mechanism inside it's arms, enableing the missiles to fire, though my US version doesn't. Did the US version ever have that launcher mechanism, or is it just that mine is missing the springs?

The (usa) g1 figure's launchers usually had weak, impotent springs.

Yes, mine was Pre rub way back when, it barely could move the missile enough to come unhooked from the trigger. Very weak. My Hound on the other hand, You could take out an eye at fifteen feet!!

    Really?

I've never got any of my early g1 launchers to actually fire the missiles, due to the short,& weak springs inside. They barely even hold the missile in the launcher.

I suppose it's partly to do with age.

Are you sure it's an IGA and not a Italian release, because those suckers launched far!
