Here is my rendition of G1 style Movie Hoist. I waited to post it until after the Botcon contest, but now Hasbro is releasing a version of it!

I really wanted to try a version of Hoist's paint job myself. I thought the yellow & black stripes , a worn look, and an overall metallic finish would be a challenge. I also found a junk accessory that matched Hoist's head piece very well.

It's all good man, yours is still unique, plus there's a lot more people who already made one of these who're in the same boat you're in. :)

The paint job looks really nice, too.

This is the BotCon guy! I really enjoyed this Hoist, as I've tried my hand at a few of these as well. I liked the copper/brass look that you went with, it really is a unique take on him.

    Great job, Me Likey!!!

Awesome painting there. The color scheme works very well.

Don't worry about Hasbro releasing their own version. Yours is still a million times better than anything they will release out of the factory.

Yeah, I tend to doubt Hasbro's version is going to look anywhere NEAR as good as yours does! Superb job on this. :thumbs2:

That looks great man. Puts the upcoming Hasbro one to shame.
