G1 Style Humvee Prime WIP... UPDATE!!! Ready for Shelf

Updated(October 21st) with bot mode pics, I think im done! Contemplating on painting the eyes yellow or just leaving them.

Updated(October 19th) with alt mode pics, still have to finish painting him in robot mode though.

I have a Prime collection and noticed that one of the Primes that I was missing was one made/painted by me. I have been looking for just the right body for quite a while now and the other day at my local thrift store I found just the right one. The main body was a Ironman crossovers Humvee, and for the head I had a junker Armada Prime with the head still intact in my box of parts so I decided to use that. Other than that I just took it all apart and painted all of the parts. I am very happy with how it turned out so far.

Leave comments or suggestions, Im always happy to hear what people have to say.

Sorry about the bad lighting for these pics...

That looks great. I have that mold, and was going to do the Roadbuster custom, but that's cool too. I'll have to think. It's very wfc-ish.

Cool! I love your paint work, looks truly G1.

I did a fast/dirty Movie version w/ the same figure, I just put a Movie 1 Voyager Optimus head and hands on it, no paint or anything (bec. I can't paint for squat). This figure is a great base for Optimus.

    More pics soon pls!

Whats odd is it reminds me alot of the new WFC (or is that FOC?) Prime design.
This works amazingly well, good job!

This looks great! And I also thought it was from the new video game at first.

If I could make one suggestion, I would
change the blue to gray or black around his eyes.
It will make them stand out better.

I love the way he looks in robot mode. Vehicle mode doesnt make much sense, but i think if you did a fade of red to blue(maybe some slight silver inbetween) it would look like a custom paint job someone would get for an actual hummer :)  but thats not NECESSARY. It looks awesome.
