So I am finally putting my stickers on my re-issue Blue Streak, and finding out he had some that aren't so great location wise.

I understand that some molds were already made, but why did they even scult all the details in some Transformers if they meant for them to have stickers there?

Wouldn't it have been easier jsut to make those areas flat?

I love G1 stickers, but I think in some cases they just cover up sculpted details, kind of like Red Alert's sticker that go over his perfectly gine tail lights.

Or Blue Streaks that go over his torso piece.

Personally I liked the stickers and they were even better if they covered up screw holes. Indeed some of the placements didn't make sense when there was already detail there though. But the nice thing is you don't have to put the stickers over the detail if you didn't want to. Sometimes I'd leave a sticker off and paint the details instead.
