I am planning on replacing the stickers on my G1 Sludge, Snarl, & Slag and need a little advice:

    1) How do I get off the sticker goo from the old stickers without damaging the toy?

    2) Any suggestions on touching up on paint chips to the red metal body? What kind of paint do I use?

Also I plan on painting the head and arms on my BT-15 Blue Prowl to make him into a custom Night Beat, like the one seen on Reprolabels. What kind of paint would I use and do I have to strip the old paint from the arms and head? or is it safe to paint over it?

Oh and did I mention i'm not that good at this kitbashing and restoration thing :redface2:  so I wanna make sure I get it right the first time :thumb

The nightbeat conversions I've seen use the Sideswipe head, not that of Prowl.

I've seen, for a BT Blue Prowl to Nightbeat conversion either a custom head or a head swap from BT/ALT Sideswipe used for him. Reprolabels.com has a decal set for that conversion, as well as a guide to painting a regular Prowl head for it to work. For paints, you can use enamels or use colored permanent markers as I do. Some of my markers have very strong PERMANENT traits making them great for some projects. The catch is, if you screw up with one, you've got to fix it quickly before it dries.
