How do they activate it from their base? do they hase some sort of remote control?. We see in "Transport to oblivion" the Spacebridge being like in a desert and the next episode ' Divide and conquer" Its inside a forest but the thing is every episode its at a different location and in "Desertion of the Dinobots" its in in the same place as in "Transport to oblivion" and then all of a sudden we see it next to Autobots headquarters, how can they move it around?

it was pretty much said in the episode "Desertion of the dinobots", Sparkplug said they used Teletran 1 to kink into the Decveticon computer control and reset the space bridge.

Or they can break into the Decepticon base and use it.

Like most of the G1 toons, the best advice is:

It just happens, don't think about it.

Actually, the space bridge is one of those concepts which remained pretty constant. Wheeljack30, there ISN'T a space bridge in the Decepticon base. The optimum location for transport is always moving, presumably because Earth and Cybertron are always rotating, so the alignment is constantly shifting, and the bridge can only remain open for a certain amount of time before the alignment shifts again. The Decepticons constantly relocate or rebuild the Earth-based end of the space bridge - the large, ring-shaped device - at different locations, while Shockwave's end on Cybertron remains fixed inside his dome. Sometimes its able to stay in one place for a while, others not long at all - the concept of the space bridge being mobile is part of the plot of the opening scene of "Divide and Conquer", when Optimus Prime is out looking for clues as to where the next one will be built. This is why the Decepticons have had to put it in some downright unhelpful places at times - take "Child's Play", where they have to build the newest bridge in the middle of an occupied baseball stadium. You think they wouldn't have rather done it somewhere less conspicuous, the way they usually do? But they couldn't, 'cause they're subject to the whims of space and time.

"Desertion of the Dinobots" is the a silly hiccup in all of that, since a receiver ring doesn't just appear, it needs to be placed there, and Sparkplug really didn't have the ability to do that.

Some of the space bridge has some issues but we ignore them for fun's sake.

Such as the notion that on both ends there is always some sort of control panel. On earth the control panel is at the end of the runway, and on Cybertron it is Shockwave's computer. Which would normally make me think that once you put your "goodies" in the Space Bridge, you need to push a button or program something to make the connection.

So in Roll For It, it makes no sense that the Autobots can just drive into the Space Bridge on Cybertron and it would just magically work. Unless Shockwave was so dumb to have it automatically set to transport any time the door was opened! Of course, it wouldn't have been very fun for the Autobots to realise that they can't just drive in and it would work.

But you notice that (for the most part, except by accident) once Skyfire and Omega Supreme showed up, the Autobots didn't use the Space Bridge. For some reason, although the Decepticons can fly, none of them can fly to Cybertron until Astrotrain shows up.
