Ok, i'm guessing that my Soundwaves tape deck door has shot it's wad. It won't stay closed. Any ideas on how I can get it to stay put???

You could glue/tape it shut.. but that's probably not what you wanted

Is it just loose or is anything noticeably broken?

you could gunk up the joint with superglue. just a drop, then a couple drops of water. Just be sure to keep moving the tape deck door so the glue doesn't set it shut forever.

You should open him up. Just be carefull when you're doing that to do it slowly. You don't want the spring and mechanism parts flying all over the place. I did open mine, it was no biggy. And putting it back together wasn't hard either. I just had to do it a couple of times to put the mechanism parts right.
