Can anyone help me out here? I've been scouring every G1 episode to find the transforming sound from bot mode and back, specifically looking for it without music background. I'd like to bit these for my computer, whenever I either maximize or minimize a window.

Does anyone know if there's an episode that has the transforming sounds without music or dialogue backgrounds?

Also, does anyone know how these sounds were created in the first place, or could at least direct me where I can find that answer?

    Thanks, y'all!

    Sure,

go to control panel, open sounds and audio devices, then click the sound tab..it will list sounds associated with system events...pick which ones you want to change and browse for your new file to replace the current sound...However it has to be .wav format so you will need to convert it if it isn't...a program called Audacity is free and will convert it...just google audacity....

Thanks a lot guys! Using Audacity, I'm changing the speed and then the pitch to make it faster and slower for different windows commands. Now I just need to get a cell phone that accepts mp3's. Flip the phone - transform sound! Close the phone - transform sound! Where else could I apply these? Could use the music bit they play when changing autobot/decepticon scenes for cellphone voice/text mail notification......any other ideas you guys might have?

These are some of those sounds that you wouldn't expect to hear in everyday life, yet if you play them in a crowded room, it'd be interesting to see how many heads turn from familiarity.

    I hear ya,

I want to get them on my cell phone as well....but haven't quite figured that out yet.
Think of how cool it would be to have some movie quotes as ring tones etc...
