The black piston that is in the core of the toy, is it supposed to be loose or should there be some resistance when pulling out or pushing in? For example, in robot mode, if i pick him up by the upper body, the piston drops down along with his waist and legs, obviously. Is this normal?

Mine's always been loose as hell so I guess it's normal for the figure.

I distinctly remember the whole waist-legs section to not drop down when picking up G1 Snarl when he was rather new. Unfortunately, it got loose very quickly, after a few days of playing with him.

My second ever Transformer 26 years ago! The sliding piece has always relied on gravity to stay in place, an awful lot of Snarl loosens up over time, his dinosaur legs need tightening every few years.

Always been loose on mine. And his dino head would split open at the slightest touch.

How do you tighten his rear feet that are hinged(the part that covers up his fists in Alt Mode)? In robot mode they always dangle.
