G1 Slag or G2 Slag

    A friend of mine recently got for me G1 Sludge, and G1 Slag at a flee market. Finally after all these years I have Sludge!
    Now I've had G2 Slag ever since he came out. and he was green. My G1 Slag is his normal G1 silver, however upon a closer look I noticed the G2 Autobot brand on the back on Slags leg, and I was like, 'huh?' So here is my question, was there ever a G2 Slag figure made in his G1 colors? Because I'm a little confused here.

    Yep. There were 3 colors. The red, the green, and the G1 colored version that you have.

    I bought a "G1" G2 Slag back when as well. Wish I'd picked up them all before they switched to the more 'colorful' versions.

    The silver version is the first G2 one that came out. In addition to the G2 symbol, if you compare it to a G1 toy, you'll notice that the transparent plastic pieces are noticably darker on the G2 version.
