    Hey everyone,

So I recently picked up the Alien trilogy box set and decided to watch all three beginning with Ridley Scott's classic last night. This afternoon, while watching James Cameron's sequel, Aliens, in the middle of the scene were Ripley and Nute are stuck in a sealed room with a Facehugger I noticed something interesting.

Right after Ripley decides to hold her lighter up to a heat detector to set off the sprinkler system and fire alarms, my cell rang so I paused the film. I look at the screen while on the phone and notice what are two absolutely unmistakable G1 Shockwave figures (in silver, so most likely the Radio Shack non-Hasbro version, I believe he was called "Laser Man", for those of us who remember) hanging upside down in gun mode and pointed at what appeared to be some sort of exam table/futuristic lab equipment set up, etc. and being used as set design for the film!

I can't give anyone a minute count or specific point to forward your dvd players to, but for anyone familiar with this film, the scene takes place shortly after they completely run out of ammunition in the automated motion-sensitive machine guns set up in the tunnels.

I researched online and couldn't find anyone else who has spotted this, they are crystal clear and unmistakable down to the rubber hoses and clear plastic cannons.

Very cool bit of science fiction film trivia for us TF fans. Go check it out if you have the movie, and share your comments if you like!

    Happy MLK weekend,

Wasn't it called Astro Magnum? Laser Man might have been it, too - the 80's into early 90's really was somethin. Good eye, though! I love spotting Transformers in other movies. Hell I remember one time while watching the old GI Joe cartoon I they threw in a scene with Wheeljack. Scifi was chilling in his quarters watching tv; someone opens his door and calls him to action, so he shuts the tv off and rushes out. I don't remember which episode it was, but I know what I saw! :)

Lastweek I was watching a movie "The Book of Eli" and the character played by Ray Stephensen look like he had a Autobot logo patch on his right arm.

I'm not saying it is, but just looks like it.

LOL, that is awesome!!! Very nice find, even after all these years it's refreshing to still see super trivial easter eggs like this show up.
