in the episode Divid and Conquer, this symbol comes on the screen as Shockwave leaves communication with Megatron, anyone know what it is?

It's the decepticon national anthem playing at the end of the braodcast.:lol

I always thought it was a character like japanese that meant end of transmission but I would to see if there could be something more.

The symbol didn't have a meaning originally, but within the last year or so, Takara's "World of Transformers" website made it the symbol of the "Cybertron Guard".

Yeah, especially the fact that he stood around on Cybertron for four million years and did virtually nothing. Truly bad ass.

Yeah but in his defense he did tell Megatron that he would keep "Cybertron just as you leave it."

Plus it took him four million years to notice a bunch of female Autobots raiding his energon supplies whenever they felt like it. Yeah, he's a bad ass genius.

It also reminds me a little of Emperor Zurg's head (Toy Story).

    Mostly.

But "the comics" are not "everything", since "everything" would include both the comics AND the cartoon. ;)

    Umm..
back on topic, I never notice that before, but when I watch G1 I am usually not plastered to the screen, I like it for background noise.
