What do people generally think about the Seacons? I may be able to get them for somewhat cheap, but Pirancon was never my favorite-- I'd much prefer my first G1 combiner to be Defensor, Predaking, or Menasor.

Do they look great? Is he worth getting at under $50? Thanks!

amazing figure the g1- not the reissue, plus depends on condition and if complete. i prefere the colours on g1 rather than the re-issue.

I guess this would be complete, it's the commemorative G1 set.

If I didn't have the original, I would have paid the original retail price of $60 for it. A few colors are slightly different on the reissue. It's a really nice combiner, its scramble city, but with a 6th figure that can transform into a targetmaster. All 6 figures are basically triple changers.

He's worth it for under $50. He's TOTALLY worth it for the $30 BBTS is currently charging.

I'm pouncing on that $30 pricetag, gonna use it to fix up my original that's missing a couple parts, like the stands and such.

For under $50, yes. For $30, heck yes.

    Definitely worth it.
I bought it for the same price BBTS on the black friday sale.
Luckily I had a vintage overbite to replace the whacky colored one :)

I paid $59.99 for mine when they first came out and have no regrets. $30 is a steal.

Paid full price for my set when it first came out and have absolutely no regrets. One of the biggest gripes with this set was how badly several of the stickers were applied. Easy enough to fix with the vastly superior sets from tfstickers though.

Yeah if I didn't already have the G1, I'd be all over this deal. Heck, I might anyway. That's $5 per bot for a brand spanking new Piranacon. Can't beat that with a stick.

I love it. I had a vintage one and still got the reissue to keep MIB...the $30 BBTS is currently offering it for is an absolute steal.

At that price does it come for less than the original at retail?

I like them alot. The stickers on the bbts version kind of suck, but it was a minor qualm for me. GREAT $30 buy.

I was going to post the very exact same thing. I'll add that I had just fully completed my G1 set for under $200 when the set was announced.

The G1 Seacons were about $37 individually ($5 per limb, $12 for Snaptrap)... adjusting for inflation, that's about $70.

... yeah, that's an amazing deal. Hell, given that reissues tend to be more expensive anyway, $60 was a good deal, $30's amazing.

Mine should arrive today. I'm quite excited... I love combiners, I love Targetmasters, and I really like aquatic modes (especially beast modes). Not super psyched about the colors, but... ah well. It's charming.

How bad's the mold degradation, though? I just want to know what to expect.

$30 is an absolute steal. If I wasn't going to pay about twice that for shipping, I might even consider getting a second set :lol
