Its been far too long since I visited these boards, life has been rather nuts of late, mainly due to my animation course (www.animationmentor.com). Got a 3 week break from it over Crimbo, so figured I'd dust down 3ds MAX and start creating. Here's my fave G1 'con thus far...he still needs legs, but com + crit so far welcome as always.
hmmm... is it just me, or does his body look a bit too wide? Since it's a wip, I'll reserve final judgement for later. Need to do something about that mouth too. It looks like he has no lips. The wings look cool. Kind of reminds me of Archangel from X-Men.
Once he's got legs I'll be able to work out his proportions a little better. With the wings I did go for the archangel look Should have a further update tonight.
WOW. Bar none, that is one of the most real-looking 3D projects I've seen. It blends into that background magnificently. And I like the face; a little smooth, but the fact that you didn't give him full, pouty lips leads to big bonus points with me. Matt
Yeah I thought it was a real glazed ceramic garden statue at first, especially considering he's armless. Seamless lighting, great work!
Looking awesome my man! The model is absolutely seamlesly intergrated with the background. Scourge has long been one of my fave TF's so I'm looking forward to seeing this finished.
Looking good Shed! Interesting modelling style and proportions. What are those white strands on the model? HDR Reflections? Looking forward to seeing this progress... C.

WOW. Very realistic looking, nice texturing and lighting. The head alone must've taken at least ten hours of work, if not more. Keep it up!
