I'm doing an anime music video with the Transformers footage to Gnarls Barkley's "I'm a Transformer." (Cliche'd, I know.)

I want to do as many scenes as I can of Autobots and Decepticons pointing at themselves (or beating on their chests, or basically indicating themselves.)

If you remember ANY scene like this off the top of your head - honestly, you don't have to go scan through the series for me - let me know.

I've got all the G1 stuff on DVD and if I need to use it, I know how to get it. I'm just curious if people remember scenes where Transformers are pointing to themselves.

I will have to think about that one. Doesn't Kranix point to his chest kind of when he introduces himself to Hot Rod and Kup in the Quintesson prison in the movie?

I think Wheelie does to when introducing himself to the Dinobots, but I could be wrong there.

 

I'm going through the movie now and looking for that stuff. I know WreckGar beats on his chest a few times. That's good enough.

EDIT: Anyone else? Any G1 scenes come to mind?

I found a nice scene in the movie where Megs looks like he's pointing at himself during the "Dinobots! Merge for the kill!" line, but I NEED MORE!

But seriously, I haven't watched G1 in a while so I can't help you, sorry. I don't even have the DVD's. I remember Starscream pointing at himself several times though. You know, his usual, "I'm the new leader!" type of stuff.

Hey, he did it in TF: The Movie, right after he tossed Megatron out of Astrotrain. In fact, right in the moment where he's saying, "Which makes me the new leader!"

 

If I am not mistaken, I believe in the Season 1 episode "Heavy Metal War" Cliffjumper gives a "hey, look at me" thumbs up after he takes a shot at Megatron flying through the air. Later on in that episode when Megs and Prime are fighing (and Megs is using all of the decipticon's powers he has absorbed), I think various decepticons point to or talk about themselves as Megatron uses their powers. Typing this out, it probably doesn't make too much sense, but if you see the episode, you will know what I mean.

 

It's not much, but in 'Hoist goes to Hollywood,' there's a lot of showboating. There may be some stuff there.

 

Nightwind's Nifty Transformer Screen Capture Archive has a lot of pics of transformers pointing. I don't know what episodes they're from though.

Yeah, I found that one earlier, too. I plan to use it, but I'm trying to figure out how. I'll explain what I'm doing with these tomorrow.

Well, it is very hard to find. Like I said before, I'd be watching out for Starscream. Also, Optimus and Megatron. They've got itchy pointing fingers. They're not to keen on fingering themselves though.... ew.
