A week or so I did a mock-up for a Scattershot using E. Jetfire (this is as far as I've gotten, no other Technobots yet). Nothing's actually been bashed yet. I just used some spare parts, modelling clay and a hobby knife to rig up a head and stuck it on the Jetfire body, but I think it works alright... The next step would be replacing his nosecone with an enormous cannon barrel, but other than that, this is a pretty damn easy homage. zmog
I'm confused...Jetfire looks both in mold and color scheme the perfect part of Scattershot... ...but for some reason I just want to bash the crap out of GF Starscream and MAKE him Scattershot. I think it comes down to me liking GF SS better... ...for now, tomorrow I will most likely change my mind again.
I think that E Jetfire is dead one for Scattershot. Interesting, I have not seen anyone post it before, good work. That head is impressive as well.
Kalron, I know what you mean. I think GF Starscream is a much nicer mold overall... which is maybe why I'd rather keep my GF Starscream intact, and instead get some use out of an old E. Jetfire. Though if you were to get your hands on a Hasbro Cybertron Starscream from the store exclusive 2-pack, you'd have a maroon figure as a base, which is pretty close to Scattershot. In fact, you could parts-swap between the maroon Starscream and your grey one, and get a good colour match without having to paint a thing! Except the head, I guess. As for this head, I think his side guns might be a bit too big, but the rest of it is a startling match for G1 Scattershot. They laughed at me for buying that bulk lot of old G1 Jumpstarters on Ebay... they laughed, but now I'll show them... I'll show them ALL! Bwahahahahahahaaa...! zmog
Wow. Wow. I have a Jetfire I'm not really using (except as pants for Ironhide), and I have a spare Sky Blast... and I might be able to spare my Cyb Hot Shot... I think there's a new project coming up once I finish my Terrorcons... I'm totally going to steal this idea!

LOL! Now you just need a couple of Jumpstarter heads! ( and yeah, you've got it Ramrider! Surprisingly, you need to do a tiny bit of cutting to make Topspin's face fit with TwinTwist's head, but it's not hard. ) zmog
Very cool. As for the Cockpit blaster, how about making the existing one fold open to reveal a big ass cannon under it? Another thought would be to mount the cockpit from an Energon Megatron on the front and have the tip of the cockpit fold open and a cannon barrel extending from it.
I like this alot using jetfire as we don't see much bashes done with this toy. I also like the head mod alot!
