I really enjoy the two robot replicas I own (BB and Baricade). I'm wondering if they sell well, if Hasbro would do characters from other lines (G1, Beast Wars, etc). That being said I'd buy more Revoltech Transformers if they were characters I like.

I'd love to see Robot Replica versions of

    Bumblebee
    G1 Prime
    G1 Megatron
    Optimus Primal
    BW Megs
    Cheetor
G1 Starscream, TC, SW well all 6 seekers to be honest
and really I'd pretty much buy any G1, BW robot replica

Well the thing about the Robot Replicas is,they are pretty much this generations Action Masters, and Action Masters aren't liked too much.

In my opinion the movie robot replicas don't look to great either, and I've seen other people say the same thing so I really doubt it.

Theres Revoltech G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron
You might want to look into them.

They are at least twice as posable as the robot replicas.

Also, there is a Macross revotech, that with a little sculpy and paint could be a great G1 Jetfire.

I have the Revoltech Prime and Megs. I guess I'm in the minority then, cause I really like the Robot Replicas. I certainly don't consider them anything like action masters.

Yes, just what we need... MORE G1 stuff...

It feels like there has been more G1 stuff in the last few years than in, well, G1.

The Robot Replicas are crap IMO. If they had sharper sculpting and tougher looking plastic, maybe, but I'm avoiding all this tertiary movie merch.

Action Masters also sucked. I dont really like the Revoltechs either. But if we got detailed, highly posable G1 action figures that actually looked good (as opposed to the Robot Heroes crap) I'd collect the whole line. The WHOLE line.

I could see it happening if R.R.s did well, but the main reason for RRs was to offer action figures that looked more like the movie 'bots than a transforming version would be able to manage. That's a goal that's easier to handle on G1-based designs.

If they ended up like the movie robot replicas, I hope they DON'T do them.

God, those guys were such a letdown.

i was very excited for robot replicas. in pics they looked like revoltechs which i <3. then i saw them. the sculpts are ok... they don't look too poseable, and the paint is horrid. you could at least try harder Hasbro, i mean you don't even have to worry about it transforming.

after holding bumblebee today, I hope this sub-line suffers a quick death. it doesnt deserve to go on. the money for the line is better spent on robot heroes.

Given the reaction from everyone, it looks like I'll have no difficulty finding these in the stores. It's too bad people aren't more into them, but can't win everything.

Yeah these coulda been really good- they are not. Oh well, lesson learned, hopefully they will pump out less crap for TF2 and focus more on the main figures.
