I'm hoping for the Upcoming G1 re-issues that they go past the 1984-86 transformers and start to re-issue the figures that appeared later on in the line.

I mean the Seacons were used rather recently and the mold itself wasn't degenerated. They could probably sell it at the leader or supreme class price point since the recent figures from ROTF in those sizes sold rather well(and they're also packing the Insecticons as a set). The other Combiners could work in a similar fashion.

Also to re-issue the headmasters and target masters, since they really have not been touched upon, they're rather solid figures themselves and were hardly repainted or re-released outside of G1(other than Fort Max). Maybe even an entire set of all the regular micromaster teams similar to the minibot re-issues. Some of the vehicles for Micromasters stood pretty well on their own(like the Micromaster Head Quarters or Groundshaker) and could probably warrent a re-issue.

I think the only ones that seem iffy would be the Pretenders, the shells themselves seem rather cheap. If anything they would pobably need to make them out of a stronger plastic and have the locking pegs be redesigned. Also a few of the inner bots were made out of cheap plastic as well(i.e Roadblock).

From what I've heard the TFCC Seacons have more QC issues than Encore Bruticus.

As an authentic G1 collector, it kinda bugs me to see all these reissues and encores come out. From my point of view, the fewer of these come out the better.

What is wrong with reissues? it allows people that can't afford the original to experience the figure. hell if it wasn't for encore i wouldn't be enjoying optimus, soundwave, and metroplex. and soon i hope to be experiencing the fun that is bruticus. if you just collect for the value of the figure, you need to reconsider your hobby.

and your sig is just way too long

Reissues are my favorite. I'd much rather have a toy that some kid didn't have his grubby hands on and loosen up all the joints than some overpriced, loose, used, sticker worn, chrome scraped piece of crap. Oh yeah, and MISB costs too much. Reissues ftw!

Bring on the reissues! The more people who can enjoy these figures, the better!

    Reissues versus the original gangstas....
IMO, it's like buying Name Brand or Walmart brand.
I know for a fact (witnessed it first hand) that the Great Value brand milk IS the same thing as the Dairy Fresh brand produced locally.

it's all about affordability and availability. why knock something that strengthens our hobby and expands it to the younger, cash strapped lads?

anyway, I am not a fan of the later years of Transformers.
Pretenders, micromasters, etc. so i won't buy into it.
but i don't mind having them released so i have the option.

So the only people who are allowed to enjoy the originals are those that can afford the originals? That's...an interesting take.

Nothing is wrong with reissues. Also what if people dont feel like paying $70 for a figure, when they can get something extremely close for less.

    OMG the DRAMA!!! LMAO!
I said reissues "kinda bug me"
I respect that it opens up the hobby to more ppl...
But, fact is, I don't need em and I don't want them.
    And again, they bug me.
    End of story ;)

You also originally said the fewer reissues there were, the better as far as you were concerned. If reissues only 'kinda bug you,' I'd hate to see what really pisses you off then.

The only problem i see with reissues is people reselling them as vintage. you can find this kind of auctions almost everyday. And newbie buyers usually pays more for those because they are "mint".
