Hey there, I'm trying to find out why the Jet Dasher I just recieved has a black chest instead of the normal blue one. Is it a variant, Diaclone or what? Also it does have Takara Macau on it, and please no snarky comments, thanks

I'm pretty sure the standard one is actually black chested.

Anyone mind if I piggyback this thread with another question about Powerdashers?

I have this vague memory of owning some non-Transformers ones years back that I bought as self-assembly kits. Can anybody confirm this as something more than hazy mists of time childhood recollection for me?

Jeez, that's what this ugly thing is going for nowadays? I know $16 isn't much for the original but $35 for the Diaclone?

I don't have one but plan on buying one eventually, just to be a completist on the mail away figs.

I remember some model kit TFs, and they had a pull back motor. I think I had one that was like Windcharger.

I remember seeing non-TF model kits in stores. I think Ertl made them.

I shall have to Google more with Ertl in mind.
At least I'm not going mad then. This memory has been bugging me for around twenty years.
