I was thinking about getting the new released Piranacon... But since its basically a repaint, could though who have had there hands on it tell me how poseable it is, because I do know G1 figures are not that poseable.

And also give me a review on him.... Just basically tell me what you think!
Because Piranacon is one of my favorite G1 combiners... He is the only thing I liked in Masterforce.... (Because I completely hate that show)

And this would be my first G1 Figure.... Is it the right G1 Figure to start off with?

Well, Piranacon's only articulation is feet that turn, wrist rotation, and arms that move up and down.

for the individual team members, it's pretty much just arms that move up and down, with occasional elbows. Seawing "kind of" has leg articulation, and tentakill "kind of" has knees.

Hmmm, do you think its a figure worth getting as a first G1 figure?

If you want it, sure. now's the best time, after all. better to spend 60 now than risk paying a lot more later.

I loved them as a kid, they were my first combiner team I ever completed. So I'm really looking forward to getting them.

Even though they're not that posable, their alt modes all look great (and are pretty damn posable, honestly), and they're very unique, so they stand out a lot. Which I think is good, others will probably think it's bad. and those chrome blades and sword are just awesome.

Get him already. He's a fantastic combiner, and my personal favorite.

of course it's worth it; it'd be tons of fun even with out articulation. :)

besides; i'd think having at least one or two combiners is a must have; for all transformers collections. :lol

i mean at very least; you can play around with it, and create different combinations lol i mean any of the limbs can become any limb, and if you are like me, i already have a tentakill, complete one, so when i get the reissue, i am so going to attach it in combiner mode; as an extra gun :)

I guess he will be my first G1 figure... =-P
I'm not going to lie.... He so far looks like the best of the G1 Combiner toys.
And the best part he is the cheapest.

    Thanks all.

You're absolutely correct. But if you can, try to find a way to buy both.

Predaking, is the best G1 combiner, with the Seacons coming in 2, well worth getting for the price, I did.

My thoughts exactly. Piranacon is definitely the best Scramble City type combiner. Bruticus and Menasor would be next on my list. Predaking is the absolute best combiner ever IMO (unless you count Omega Prime), but that doesn't mean you should miss out on the seacons...

It seems like they both are worth the most money out of the combiner.
