Hey Everyone! I built this Scout Class Menasor from various Scout Class figures and a RTS Laser Optimus and a PCC Leadfoot. He's fully transformable. Can you do me the honor of voting on whether I should paint him in a G1 color scheme (or as much as possible) or should I go G1 with a modern twist?

    Thanks!!

G1 color scheme, or at least homages the G1 color scheme with some of your own touches.

At least that's how I'd like it if I were to buy one or do it myself. Nice custom BTW.

    That thing is gorgeous. :thumb

I'd like to see what sort of modern twists you can put on the G1 color scheme.

Just making a joke about how you're cannibalizing it for a custom before he's seen proper distribution.

That's so strange, with Windcharger; some retailers in Australia had pegloads of him earlier in the year. Still, many of our Hasbro releases are inflated in price to almost the cost of importing Takara versions...

The feet and lower legs here are cool and a G1 deco will help G2 Prime sit better as a torso, but this gave me an idea; turn Prime's torso back to front and put the arms upside down so the shoulders with the built in light piping sit flush to the torso and with Prime's back, all this becomes Menasor's chest. I'd thought about a similar back to front arrangement to make Hot Spot out of Voyager Inferno.

I get it now, I'm just slow man, :D

Hmmm...I like the idea about spinning Optimus around. I'll look into that and take some pics for you.

Thanks!! Nice Galvy by the way ;)

Modern. You already took some liberty with the design. May as well give yourself the same artistic freedom with regards to the paint.
