I just bought a G1 Prime on ebay for cheap. He is in an american box. The strange thing is the trademark on the toy. It has only a Takara trademark on the trailer ( 1980, 1982) I know for an american G1 toy to have only a Takara trademark is not unusual, G1 Soundwave for example. But I've had and still have several Prime trailers. All of which have a Takara ASWELL as Hasbro trademark. I'm sure it's not a knockoff or a prerub grey roller trailer. Is it a japanese verison in an american box? Is it a rare mis-stamp? Something esle? How can I prove that it is whatever it is? Any help would be great!

Well to get the obvious out of the way; it's not the metal-plated trailer, right?

I bet yours has the launcher mechanism for the pegless roller, correct?
