Yup its that time of the year again, and yet Im still bumming around the house. I know being jobless is a poor excuse not to give my pecial someone a holiday present, (honestly Id like to thank my girl for being such a trooper through out all our ordeals.)

So both my girl and I are both fans of the 86 movie and we have everyone in the cast except for one...

I then digged thru my spare parts bin (graveyard) and attempted to make my GF's Xmas gift/scratch build...

It really bugged me which arcee should I make?

    The choices were:

    - movie SS
    - tfa Blurr
    - TFM Arcee
    - GN Archer
    - or just random stuff?

I picked the later... and I think I can safely say This mix has never been used for an Arcee before. Im pleased on how the build turned out, It scalles well with the Classics but kinda lacks femininity. but overall not bad for a first atempt.

    I also thought to myself

Arcee was either a car or a bike...

    G1-Car
    TFA- Car?
    Movie - Bike
    Energon- Bike
    Prime- Bike

so bike won 3-2 but I decided to stick to A G1 paint scheme... the parts I used were:

    -TFA Prowl
    -RTS Perceptor , Tracks
    -TFG CJ
    -PCC Salvage
    -Random Capcom Girl Gashapon head

had to do this while she was aleep or away at work. I have the build and first paint scheme up. basically this just needs cleaning up. and should be ready by Xmas.

Hopefully I can get her to take a picture of it just like what we did with Rodimus for my sig.

    So heres The WIP guys.

    *******MAJOR UPDATE: on page 3*********

i'd like to thank everyone for the warm feedback on this, the cc's helped me make my resolve in rehashing this fig ( I re did the paint and rehashed both the bot mode and alt mode) resulting in what I think is a better fig overall....

for those of you wondering, Yes my girl loved Arcee-chan (will post some happy moment pics) hopefully this will lead her into saying a final yes someday soon.

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.... :)

Certainly interesting. I like how you managed to blend many styles together into a somewhat coherent figure. Animated body stylings with Movie rollerskates and a G1 paintjob. I'm somewhat concerned with the bike mode, but aside from that she looks great. :)

Hope you both have a nice Xmas/whatever holiday you celebrate. Oh, and get lots of presents. :)

That's interesting. Paint looks a little thick and the vehicle mode needs some work.

If your girlfriend doesn't like this, you have to dump her on the account of her being crazy insane.

    Wonderful custom.

I really dig the way you think, bro! I love the mix of parts and the hard work you've put into this. I'm sure she will love it! This actually made me bust out my TFA Prowl and my junker WFC Cliffjumper.....now I'm planning to do a cool bike-former at some point, thanks to you (if/when I do, I'll shoot you some credit!). I'm curious as to what you used for the upper arms/shoulders and the upper legs/thighs. I know you have the WJ/Tracks arms in there and the WFC Cliffjumper legs, just wondering what parts you used with those.

Keep up the great work and let us know how she likes it!

Thanks man, OK here are a break down of parts. for thighs Ive used forearms from RTS Perceptor. and for her forearms I used forearms from PCC Salvage. hope that helps you and good luck on your build... Id love to see your take on this.
