Seeing as both have recently been reissued and are relatively similar price-wise. I can't imagine I'm the only one torn on which one to get. I need help. For those of you who have either owned or handled both; which one is the "More Awesome"?

While I have both, Metroplex gets my vote; Omega Supreme is too much of a parts-former for me. Although both are good toys :D

It's a really close call, I have them both and they are both great. But if you have a bunch of homeless minibots, Metroplex gets the edge.

Metroplex. To be fair omega supreme was the autobots first base. But I think I had more hype around metroplex as a kid. "Its a whole city that turns into a robot" From a collector standpoint I like metroplex more because you don't have to worry about a vintage engine giving out. Stuff like that bothers me. Corrodeing batteries, brittle plastics, yellowing plastics, diming leds, smokeing and shorted electronics.

Omega Supreme kicks any Transformer's butt 24/7. I wish there had been an Astrotrain toy made that would match OS on size.

Omega Supreme can walk...Metroplex is a whole city/carrier thing that turns into a giant robot that has more bells and whistles than I expected it too have when purchasing it. Plus he comes with two extra bots (Six-Gun, if you don't arm Metroplex with his guns, and Scamper who fits nicely with anyone's minibots) and a little tank drone who can compliment Roller.

Shit, I'm torn. I don't even own Omega Supreme yet (he's on his way though), but I already expect to amuse the hell out of myself as I send him chasing after my dog. I voted for Metroplex, but really I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I voted Omega because its fun to set up an army of Constructicons and other Decepticons and have him walk through them. :D  But both are awesome toys, its a hard call.

Omega. He may be a parts-former, but Metroplex pretty much just turns into himself sitting down.

While I ordered both, if I had to go with one, I'd go with Metroplex. I think he has better detail and a more dynamic looking robot mode along with a more coherent transformation. Also, I like the extra little bots that come with him. Omega has a great alt mode, I think, but for me the 'bot mode is more important.

Metroplex is so much better. I was so disappointed when I got Encore Omega, after years of wanting the toy.

Metroplex is all sorts of win.

    Mind you, howzabout both!?

I'm surprised there is so much support for Metroplex. Omega is just about 14000 times more awesome and fun.

    Both.

Heck, thanks to the HLJ clearance sale I essentially got both of them for the price of either of them at regular price.

while i like omega, metroplex gets my vote simply for not being 100% partsformer, and coming with two smaller bots (three if you count slammer)

I've been slowly asembling G1 versions of both, and I've picked up both of the Encore versions. I'll have to pick Omega, because of the self propelled thing, and a little more sentimental with Omega then Metro, but also I was always a little disapointed with MetroPlex's transformation, because of this -
always seemed too simple to me.

but like mentioned already, you really can't go wrong with eaither.
