So I just got some good/bad news this evening, depending on how much of a supporter you are.

As many know, competition in China is fierce for KO companies and to compete against eachother is commonplace. I have receintly been contacted by a different company than the first who is also doing KOs of G1 figures. Their first release - METROPLEX! I am told this is done is high quality and will come in a G1 style of box with styrofoam insert, instructions, catalogue and sticker sheets. I don't know what they will have for copyrites, this will be found out when they come in stock. The retail on this figure will be $124.99 US which I find is much more reasonable than $80 for a Dinobot considering the size and complexity of the figure. (a good portion of the cost is in the shipping as well)

We are going to be bringing in a limmited number of these to try out and can be preordered from our site at $109.99, saving $15 on this trial run. These will be shipping to us early to mid December so we hope to have these all out for the Holidays.

I have not inclued a link in this posting but if you want to check it out you can click the button on the side of this page <====!

I may be in the minority, but there is no way that I would ever spend 100+ dollars for a knock-off. . .

I wonder if Has-Tak-Tom will ever take action against KOs like this.

    You're not alone.

spence, if you have any pull in their choices you should try to get them to make the rarer more fragile stuff like metrotitan and black zarak, i would actually pay $125 for those.

Wow, this just got WAY out of hand!
Metroplexes are everywhere. You can get them for a decent price!
There's no point in KO this figure! Their just flooding the market with crappy plastic junk.

Hum, oddly enough I JUST did a search on eBay for Metroplex in the completed auctions and found one for under $179. All others were over that price. Seems to me then you can't get a MISB Metroplex for $125 as easy as you say it is.

Loose they go for about $100 or so but then you can't apply your own stickers.

I don't see how a difference of $40-$50 makes. You're just flooding the market with KOs. Again, I don't know what the quality of the plastic is of this figure but from what I heard about other KO figures, their not that good. And if it's a KO, shouldn't it be like $50 instead of $129?

    Wow. o_o

I hope we can get a cataloguing of the differences ASAP, it feels like soon you'll have to carefully examine -any- vintage item to make sure it's not a newer knockoff.

Chances are they will butcher the box like the other tards doing the kos. Not worth $100 considering you can get them alot cheaper on ebay and metroplex parts are a dime a dozen. I am all for weird colors and such but other than that id like to see these guys get what they have comin to em.

Black Zarak is one expensive bastard who will most likely be broken on arrival. He's not exactly a toy most collectors can just save up for.

Alot of people say this funny thing is I have had two and neither have had 1 single gps issue both were packed in a box with all my other loose tfs and moved with only a few tshirts as packing, I have seen tons of Bzaraks go for more than fair prices $300-$400, when you think about it thats not alot of cash really. The hard to get stuff should stay hard to get and if you want it badly then save up. Like Vangelus said soon we will have to check everything out before we buy and its pretty f-ed up that it's coming to that.
