this is my menasor WIP. its made from KO parts and most of the joints/limbs and the torso is built from scratch. i did not use styrene as it would be too weak to support the weight as the KO stunticons are made from die cast metal. So i used 10mm thick clear acrylic sheets. only motormaster is leader sized. the rest are deluxe sized.

Menasor will be an extensive parts former.

sadly i did not do my maths properly...his torso is too heavy so i had to skip his originally planned thigh articulation

When you comment on my Menasor and i saw you had only 10-odd posts, i was like "Meh, whatever, just some n00b who doesn't know awesomeness when he sees it".

But damn, you proved me wrong. This Menasor looks like it'll be awesome, and your Devs sounds great too. I'd argue i don't like the robot modes of the Stunticon's molds, but hey, they're Stunticons, so they should be in car mode most of the time anyways. Can't wait to see this thing finished, and painted to perfection. By the sounds of it this thing is gonna be huge! :)

I'm not so sure about using clear acrylic for building. It's a harder plastic, for sure, but it's also pretty brittle. I'd be worried about Menasor chipping/cracking if it fell over...

As for the the design itself~ lots of interesting ideas I'd like to see panned our further. *nod*

yah it will be brittle but this is just going to be a display piece standing in my room. i would not even think of posing him around too much.

Oh, very nice. I recognise those bots, too; I have a Mini Cooper and... something else (I suck at cars) from the same line as the non-Drag Strip limbs, and a long-nose truck from Motormaster's line. It's looking really good so far; I'm very impressed with your acrylic work.

Definitely looking forward to seeing how they turn out. :)
