Some of the designs don't really work G1-ified, some don't even look that different.

Very nifty, but alot of them are either just slightly changed or characters built out of existing Animated character parts, which kind of takes away from the awesomeness. Still, very good job seeing as it took some work!

Like the Megatron one, by the way.

They lack a lot of the imagination of the actual Animated designs.

Yeah, some don't look all that different, but overall, it makes me slightly less ambivalent about Animated. Some of they look vaguely like robots that can transform now.

The art in and of itself was good. However, the line was blurred so much between ani and g1 that they didn't look much different than their original counterparts. Besides the rugged shoes, and the slightly backbent knees, they were very g1. also missing (to me) was the little touches that made the Animated characters welll... Animated. The buttcracks on the Constructicons. Wheeljack's muttonchops. Perceptor's glasses. things like that... You are very talented, but perhaps what you are displaying and what I was hoping for are two different things.
