Wow! Thanks for posting those pictures! Being a fan from another country, I really envy you guys for all these "mail away" incentives! In fact, I clearly remembered being disappointed that Reflector was a mail away exclusive!

Are these collectors' items? I probably have a few dozen of these sitting around.

It's a bit on the rare side. It's the 1986 U.K./Ireland market poster. If you look closely, you'll see it has some Autbot cars which were no longer being offered at retail in North America at that time.

You may also notice that Rodimus and Wreck Gar are not present, and Magnus is clearly marked as Leader.

I have a couple of those with my paperwork. They are neat to look at. I was looking at the catalogs from 84-87 putting together a list for Botcon next year. Its funny how just looking at the list brings back the nostalgia.

I have a few of these; I kept them, along with the packaging. They're mostly UK/US ones (we got a lot of the US ones in our toys, including the Omnibots one shown above, which I do have), but I do have the ones that came with Starsaber & the Goodbye Convoy giftset. I'll get pics of them, if people would be interested.

Pics of the mailaway catalog that came with the G1 Goodbye Convoy giftset. As you can see, it's very much like the "Thundercracker" catalog that Megatronwp38 posted, but for a totally different set of toys:

I've never seen that one before. Thanks for sharing. I have all of the other ones plus some others. I have a larger one that was mailed to me after the movie was released in 1986. It came with a movie poster and bios for the Megs, Ops, and Reflector. It even offered a free movie poster with your movie ticket stub. Damn, I never ordered it. I even still have 2 ticket stubs. Do you think they will still honor the offer. Lol. Here they are:

I've actually never seen that Ultimate Battle one either I don't think, so another thanks from me.

You know what is sickening? Reflector...$10 + 2 robot points. And IIRC my parents kept telling me no. They totally owe me like...3 or 400 bones now.

Awesome...I wonder if the story on the Thundercracker part, which is Dirge now, is similar to the US one. I love all the old G1 paperwork. Wish I had more.I have toy catalogues for every year in the US and one from the Heasmasters series in Japan too

U know what, I think I have this one as well in my Japanese bruticus gift set. Ill have to look.

Oh I know right. I picked reflector up about 4 years ago for $120 complete with instructions...no box though. A local store had a complete reflector with the box for like $300. Crazy.

Awesome. I need to dig out my box of catalogs from the old toys. I still have the original S.T.A.R.S. mail-in offer catalog, and several of the original '84 catalog and lots of every year from that point up until about 87-88. Lots of different mail-in offer catalogs too.

I still have the exact same ones I used to open up daily and stare at for hours too. It's crazy when I think about how much time I spent staring at those pages and just day-dreaming.
