I was wondering if anyone else agrees or has ever thought that G1 toon Lazerbeak is female?
I never thought about it until like 3 minutes ago. Is there any audio from G1 that calls Lazerbeak a "he" or "him"?
Soundwave's affection for her and also the way she sits on Megatron's arm, idunno it didnt hit me until just now.
    I'm probably wrong....
Ironically, I still see Buzzsaw as a male

I am really sure there are plenty of sources on either a toy box or a comic that states he is male. (on my phone posting or else I would look up some links on the subject.) I am sure if LB was meant to be a fembirdbot there would have been Years of frightening fanfics piled up all over the internet.

    ^ That says it all.

    But... if birds were 'birds'...

Try the Lady Laserbeak: Now with wings. :)

Also, "Laserbeak" is spelled with an "s", like the word "laser". There was a "Lazorbeak" in Beast Wars, but all other toys and characters of that name were spelled like the original G1 toy.

But wow, what a real "By the way, Dumbledore was homosexual" moment that would be if it turned out true!

Its probably because the marking around his eyes looks like mascara... and was purple.

That's exactly what I thought the answers would be lol. I think it's definitely the way the eyes look. And the coldness of the character, the you never fail me and all that. And remember like when he would tease and chase the humans around lol. Or hover above them with those eyes.
Just for fun I will say that referring to the toy bios only goes so far in my book. Hasbro couldn't even get certain names right. You know who I'm talkin about.
And the toon didn't really utilize alot of that stuff on the bios anyway.
But I can see why people would be against the idea.
I would have asked about Ravage too, but his voice in G1 and of course Beast Wars...
I have been watchin BW this week so maybe it was Airazor that made me think of that, now that I think about it.
As for the spelling of Laserbeak, my bad, I wasn't really thinkin about it. I think the Z looks cool....
I'm prolly thinkin of that El-P track Lazerface or whatever
