    I have a question regarding G1 Jetfire's tail-fins.
On my figure, the vertical tail-fins are very, very tight when folding them for transformation. So much so sometimes I fear I'm going to brake something.
However, when in jet mode, and the fin's are upright, they seem flimsy!
Any way to fix this? My previous Jetfire did not have this issue. [IMG]
It would be nice to have the fins stay put in jet mode!

Put some armor on him. He's nekkid! Then you won't have to worry about them. :lol

Seriously though I dont' have a solution. Mine angle outwards a bit but it doesn't bother me. Mine did it when I was a kid too.

I only like his armor in robot mode......................in jet mode, I prefer him this way. Maybe I need to feed him some Viagra? :D
Seriously, would stay up and not flop down.

Man, you have more guts than I did with my Jetfire. I never removed his Armor, especially his arm boosters because those clips can break real easy.

On subject... nah, just leave him with his armor on!

98% of the time he's in robot mode anyway. But I do like to transform him once in a while.

I've always just positioned mine at an angle so I've never noticed if they're lose or not. (Plus it probably helps I got mine when I was 6 so never would have noticed something like that in the first place :lol )

Maybe just stroke them a little so they get harder. *zing*

Kidding. Maybe some clear nail polish or non-gloss polyurethane (sp?) spray.

Actually Deathstorm's nail polish idea might be your best bet. Put a small amount of clear nail polish on the friction points. That should give it something to keep them standing up.

Thank you, I will look into that. As long as it doesn't make it so sticky that I can't fold it when I want to.

Just let it dry. It won't be sticky at all. Use as little as you can get by with and let it dry completely before you reapply.

I doubt you can take that part apart easily without breaking anything, just use a thin metal clip to help on hard to reach places.
Also, as tight as those tail fins are, they rarely breaks. Most of the jetfires do not have any issue with their fins. The most common problem is usually the shoulder part.
