    Hello all!

I just have a quick question that I'm unable to find an answer for.

I did some in depth trouble shooting to find that my Optimus is in fact an original G1 original.

I still have it in all the original packaging with everything included.

The box isn't in perfect condition, but otherwise it's mint. There's some wear around the corners and on the advert flap that extends up. The tape on one side is warn and no longer holds the flap.

I'm wondering what the actual price range is on this item.

I cannot include pics at this time, but I'm very curious as to the price. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was recently at Calgary Comicon and was told that Mint box all included sealed is 50k, working it's way downward to 1.5k.

    Thanks in advance!
    Cole

    PS:
I know you've probably received a lot of similar posts. For this I apologize. I'm just at a loss for information as to prices, and would really like to get a range.

I doubt any Transformer is worth 50K, so someone is pulling your leg. The G1 Transformer I've seen go for the most is Fortress Maximus, for about 1-3k.

Have you checked the completed auctions on ebay? That might give you an idea of what Prime goes for in various conditions. That's about the best way I know of to get an idea of an items value.....

Whoever told you 50k is full of manure.

TRANSFORMERS G1 VINTAGE OPTIMUS PRIME GREY ROLLER!!!!! - eBay (item 130387330630 end time May-06-10 21:37:22 PDT)

Here's an auction for a in box Prime. The seller has it listed at $249 or BO. One thing there are knockoff G1 Primes out there, and I'm not sure it is legit, or not, and don't have time to check the thread on it right now.

This is the thread on KO G1 toys

Also welcome to the site, and enjoy your stay here. If you have any more toy questions, feel free to ask, and also, there is a search thread here if you think there might already be a thread on what you want to ask.

i need an oxygen tent. all the air in the room just gpt sucked out.

the fact you think, somebody told you that an opened, not MISB G1 figure is worth 50k (in a universe not created at Marvel Comics) shows something.

just post it on eBay and tell the IRS to send in their agents.

I'd say you could get $200-$300 for it. That's the price range I kept seeing when I was looking for a vintage Prime with box, which wasn't that long ago.

I'm going to be fair and point out that he did not say that his figure is worth $50k or that he thinks it is.

There's no way a vintage G1 Prime is worth 50k. Maybe 500 bucks at best considering your description of the box wear.

Actually he said that someone told that a SEALED Prime is 50K....but either way, he's def. not worth that much...he's not a penny over 45K.

50k for a sealed prime. I once saw 5k for a misb. Dont know if it sold for that much. Only lucky draws or unreleased finished figures such as the g2 stunticons/protectobots are gonna go for more than a Fort Max. at least based on auctions i have seen.

Saw a MISB Brave or a Grand Max go for 3k on Evilbay a couple days ago.
    Your G1 Prime-$250...300 tops.
