I bought a G1 original hound from BotCon -- he's beautiful but his stickers are not on him.

When I saw him I was sad for that, but then discovered the sticker sheet was still intact and inside the bag.

Like, old sticker sheet too. I have to cut out all the stickers myself to get them on Hound.

My question is this: Do I dare play with stickers and put them on him, or do I leave them alone? I'm terrified of messing him up or the stickers falling off.

Not sure what you mean by "cut the stickers out", they will just peel off the sticker sheet, unless it came with a gag sheet.

And besides, you've come this far, I say slap those stickers on and go nuts! It's not like it's a minty boxed or sealed version, enjoy him now he's found a new lease of life.

If your worried about the stickers. I would keep leave the factory ones alone, and just get two sets of Reprolables. I say two sets in case you mess one up.

They're not peel-and-stick stickers. The sheet tells me I have to "cut inside the blue areas" in order to get them apart.

Yes, I bought an excellent G1 Hound that came with no stickers. I got a sheet from Reprolabels and now my Hound looks immaculate... I highly recommend Reprolabels.

WTF kind of stickers are those? I've never heard of any TFs coming with stickers like that. Maybe they're repros?

Yeah, those sound like the repros from when they first came out, before they started pre-cutting them.

Real Transfromers labels were always pre-cut.

Well one thing is for sure, the labels you have aren't genuine Hasbro ro Takara Transformers originals.

Agreed, they are not originals, or reissues. Both were pre-cut.

Even if those were originals, I'd recomend not using them and just getting reprolabels. The G1 stickers start to loose their "Stick" after a while I think, and even the re-issue stickers suck in some cases (case in point: MISB TRU Re-issue Silversteak, I had a hell of a time getting those damn stickers on because the sticky stuff was so pathetically old).

Seems little excessive. Aside from a little extra work, there's nothing wrong with those. And even repro lables aren't exactly cheap.

Awesome. Thanks bunches, dudes. The stickers don't have any printing to tell me where they came from, but if that's the case I'll just buy them from Repro.

don't bother getting two sets though, even if you stick reprolabels on wrong, they peel and stick a couple times with no issues,

I got an early set of Repro Devastator stickers and let me tell you, it was a pain in the ass to cut them out lol. I don't have fond memories of those days....
