A LITTLE WORK IN PROGRESS ...
this project is " autobotsrollout"'s idea, an awesome friend and fellow customiser.
thanks for this idea shon! I back you up 100%, this body looks more streamline than the one hasbro gave us for classics, is taller wich makes it even better, articulation is 10 times better, even vehicle mode so kick ass lol...hope this is some what , what you had in mind :)
sadly im resculpting his center crest/mohawk since its over one way ...just doesnt look good to me and this being not square/centre is driving me nuts! lol
let me know what you guys think! and comments good or bad are always welcome.
    cheers!

sept17 update : I wanted to show you guys this prototype, just a simple paint job to match factory... matching color for hasbro's red paint scheme. Both helmet and face were airbrushed, hard work masking but the end result is worth it.
please let me know what you think.
ALSO PREORDERING STARTS NOW, IF YOU GUYS CAN PM ME ALL YOUR INFO: NAME, ADDRESS, AND PAINT SCHEME(TAKARA/HASBRO) THIS WAY I HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW MANY I'LL BE MAKING.
    THANKS :)

I had the same idea. I even bought an Animated Rodimus just to see if it could work. I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't look all that good.

You may be proving me wrong here. I'll be keeping an eye on this.

But that head sculpt is fantastic!

Transformation aside, would this head possibly fit the Classics Rodimus? I'm planning on modding mine with a new head & leg extension and this head is perfect for that!

Beautiful job on the head sculpt btw! :thumb

I had the same idea for this mold, but with the lack of head sculpting tools & maybe ability i passed on it.
You my friend have done an excellent job. I say make a few more and ill gladly pick one up to have one of my own!!!

    Verdict: 2 autobot thumbs up!!!!!

    Amazing head sculpt!

The TFA Rodimus mold is very better than the Classics one. And with the correct head (like yours) it makes a great Classics Rodimus.

    Good work!
