Who would win?




My money's on Dinobot. Grimlock's tough, but he tends to overuse brute force while Dinobot knows when to hold back, and how to strategize a plan to take his opponents down.

G1 Grimlock without a doubt. He is over 30 feet tall compared to Dinobot's 8-10'.

 

I'd imagine it like any good comic book team up, they fight for a while. Grimlock with advantage of power, Dinobot with speed and smaller size. Both equally vicious and skilled warriors (this is G1 Comic Grimlock of course, to give Grimmy equal footing). In the end, Dinobot's Predacon slyness serves him well but Grimlock is just about to win when the real threat that manipulated them into fighting turns up and they team up to take the Cons down together.

-ZacWilliam, Grimlock returns to his own time wondering about adding a full sized Velociraptor TF to his own team.

 

While I like Dinobot of a hell of a lot more. Size, power and brute strength will tip in the favor of Grimlock, and if we are talking Marvel comics G1 Grimlock; ol' Choppaface is screwed.

 

This. Dinobot is larger than a large human. Grimlock is larger than a large truck. You do the fricking math

Dinobot. Thinking from a strategic and story-telling perspective he has all the cards. Grimlock is by and large depicted as slow and clumsy even when he's smart. Dinobot, however, is know to improvise and use the surroundings to his advantage. Plus he's pretty agile and resiliant.

 

Grimlock is pure brute strength, Dinobot epitomizes the true essence of a Predacon (something the rebel Megatron didn't). Dinobot would have the abilities to take on a foe much larger, and less strategically able.

While Grimlock may be taller, Dinobot is smarter and would used Grimlock's lack of smarts against him in battle.

 

Would likely be a pretty good fight but in the end I believe Grimlock would win.

 

Grimlock. Him no bozo, him King! And he's G1 of course. G1 always wins over BW.

 

Are you kidding? Grimlock could stomp Optimus Prime. He'd make quick work out of Dinobot.

 

Grimlock is waaaaay bigger than Dinobot. Even if they were the same size, Grimlock has notoriously thick skin and Dinobot is armed fairly light. He'd have to be packing that big gun he took from the weapons locker in season 2 to be any kind of threat.

That or the hammer.

 

Depends which Grimlock you mean. Comic book Grimlock is pretty much the same as Dinobot in mentality. Both have the Klingonesque Warrior with honor thing going on.

How about we stick G1 Grimlock in his Beast Wars body, a Dinobot repaint?

 

In a fight? I feel inclined to say Grimlock. But I like Dinobot waaaaaaaaaaaaay way more.

The guy beat Rampage, Inferno, Tarantulas, Blackarachnia AND freaking Megatron all by himself. Also Quickstrike and Waspinator, but those two are morons.

 

Yeah, but he also died in the process & failed to finish the job on any of the others. Granted, his actual objective of holding off the slaughter long enough for reinforcements to come was seen, but still. Plus, Grimlock may've spoke like people on this forum, but he wasn't a complete ****** on the battlefield (if anything, he was easily one of the strongest reoccurring Autobots around, save like combiners, Skylynx & cities), and well, like others have mentioned, his foot is like the size of Dinobot's body.
