I was watching the episode on DVD and I notice at one point Shockwave was drawn in. But at the next frame it was Thundercracker instead. I just thought it was weird that's all especially since Shockwave was on Cybertron (I assume.)

    Unless there's something I missed.

There are a lot of animation errors in the series. I can't remember the episode, but it was one where one of the seeker jets were retreating from battle. As he took off, it was Thundercracker I think, but when he crashed and fell, it was Starscream. Or maybe I had it backwards, but point is. There's a lot of animation errors in the series. Don't be surprised to find more.

G1 episode - "__________" errors [please use this template for the next G1 episode you watch]

If you wanna get into G1 animations errors then we're going to be here for awhile. It's easier to just accept them. Heck, some are even good for a laugh.

Yeah, G1 had the most amazing amounts of animation errors i'v ever seen. Once, in one screen, i counted over 15 seekers, in one scene? One thing I saw that I was baffled about was I saw Soundwave with a purple Autobot symble once. G1 had the most, ever, case closed.

Sure G1 has a lot of animation errors but seekers are supposed to be some sort of mass produced model, there are more of them than the named ones.

I know, but when you see 10 Skywarps on one screen, you just wonder why?

G1 was great fun, but if we had a thread for every lapse in logic and technical glitch in the series.... well we could fill a whole forum with them.

Oh God that made my laugh.

First episode where the Decepticons board the Autobots spaceship, you hear Megatron's voice saying, "ATTACK!" But you see Optimus Prime talking instead. Kind of weird.

Every single G1 episode is full of countless errors, its possibly part of its charm. It didn't matter though as as little kids we didn't care and we still wanted all the toys.

QFT. My favorite error is Sideswipe standing next to Megatron in Deception HQ! Anyway, "Autobot Run" wasn't an error, it was typical G1. I love every minute of it, and the rest of G1. Well, at least Season 1 and 2 and the end of 3 plus 4. :lol

That happened often, Skyfire had red Decepticon symbols. That animation error annoyed me even as a kid.

The error was having AKOM animate any of the episodes! Each episode that company did was full of errors in nearly every shot (Five Faces of Darkness, City of Steel, The Core, etc.).

So, question: if you could have the cartoon errors all fixed and have an ultimate polished version, would you want to? As nice as it might be because it would remove a huge chunk of G1 bashers in one go, as someone said it's possibly part of its charm. I see all the errors when I watch the shows these days and it's like when I saw them back as a nipper. There's nostalgia in those mistakes. I don't think I was ever actually irritated by the mistakes.
