Got a quick question - were the Constructicons that were in the Devastator G1 gift set ever yellow in color or were they always green? Was the yellow color scheme only a G2 and/or KO thing?

    Anybody know?

    Thanks in advance!

The yellow Constructicons were only seen in G2.

That's one of the high quality KOs. They have it in all three colors (green, yellow, and orange) over at KOToys.com

easy way to tell is look at devastators arm thats holding the gun. there isnt any silver/grey outline that separates it from the figure windows.

    For the most part, yes.

Although at least some of the 1985-86 run released in France were yellow.

Obviously the natural reaction would be to question my statement, and suggest that i'm getting things mixed up with the later European release of the (Yellow) Constructicons where they were sold on generic cards with no Devastator parts.

But Yellow Constructicons in (Early) G1 (European) packaging do exist.

I saw them with my own eyes back in the day.

I've seen the Devastator Gift Set in Red also. Totally weird looking, LOL, but yes that looks like a KO, definitely not worth 150 bucks, you can get the KO's for about half the price.

the fact that the back of the box shows Superion pretty much gives away the KO.
