Basically I have a set of G1 Deluxe Insecticons in my collection that are in great shape and complete with all weapons and accessories. If I had to grade them I'd give them about a C-9 or better. With the wear if any being in the stickers. I have been contemplating selling him off lately as I have a lot of my G1 collection. And what I'm wondering is about how much is are they going for currently? Any help is of course appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

He's talking about the Deluxe Insecticons: Chop Shop, Barrage, and Venom. Those three aren't so readily available.

And Ransack. Four total. I got these for for $20 apiece two years ago. Not sure if they're worth more now or not.

These 4 are those kind of figures that you can snag for $20 complete one day and then cant find for less than $40 the next. Venom, especially, can get into the $50 range. Ah the beauty of not reissuing figures!

ah yes, these are virtual unknowns to more casual collectors. but yah $20 to $50 would be my estimate. leaning toward the higher end going on the good condition.

I've been looking for these on and off for awhile. I'll agree with the others and say you can find them in fair to good condition for $20 to $40 each if you sold them seperately.

If you are going to be selling them, I'd be very interested. Shoot me a PM if you decide to sell. Thanks!

Me too... It'd be easier than putting a set together myself. I'll give you $10 more than sy-rein... ;)

In my experience it's Ransack that's the more sought after of the four.

Yeah, $20 - $50 would be a fair ballpark figure for these guys. You might get lucky and the more rare ones (ie Ransack) might net you somewhere around the $60 - $80 mark. To say the secondary market is unpredictable is a massive understatement.

I don't think these come up that much at all, the only other place to get them is in those Stores that carry the knock offs and I have no clue of the quality there.

Those bugs ARE knockoff quality, and they aren't even the same molds. I got one at Walgreen's years back, weak quality.

The deluxe Insecticons are hard to get complete, because of their swords/axes and hard to get in good condition. Most of these guys are prone to leg breakage-barrage as well as snapped off wings, like venom. ChopShop is hard to get complete with his orange sword and he tends to have chipped brown paint on his body. most of these guys have been going for 50-60$ complete lately.

Hmmm. I may have underpriced the one I have enroute for my Botcon table.

If you are right (and I forget to change it) someone could get a nice deal on a loose in box Chop Shop...

I buy lots and lots of Insecticons, being a fanatic and all, and I can tell you that the bots can be had in good shape for under $20 fairly easily, but with the weapons added, the price goes up quite a bit. I've found multiples of the 4 bots for great deals, but the weapons often elude me entirely and when I do find them the prices are usually more than I wish to pay. So, I'll throw my hat into the $40-60 range for complete figures, especially if the wings on Ransack and Venom are perfect and lack the typical stress marks found on many of them.

Also, as far as I am aware, there are no other versions of these bots in existence except for the original ones form the Takatoku Beetras line. The insect bots that exist that are KOs are pretty original, actually, and only 4-Star tried to copy the 3 original Insecticons.

I remeber being a kid and passing on these because they were not on the show lol. They are good figures but, they suffer the same issues as their bandai partner RoadBuster-stress marks.

Yeah, Ransack and Chop Shop have no arm articulation to speak of, but they look great in insect mode.
