Just finished displaying my American Decoy collection and I thought I'd post a pic. All of them are American originals except for Laserbeak. This includes all of the rare red Decepticons too :) . Finding all of these in good "standing" condition was quite the challenge to say the least …

Only 71 more to go for me (Only have three from when I was a kid). Awesome stuff, I love the Decoys, but just can't find the budget for them right now (too much good stuff to buy). Nice to see a huge display of them. Outside of the red D-Cons, what ones are considered "rare" if any, just for my future referance, and is there a specific place you went through for most of them?

Windcharger and Sunstreaker come to mind.
On the Decepticon side the Seekers were a bit of a pain.
But overall, the Autobots in general seemed to be harder to find than the Decepticons.

Thanks. Again, awesome stuff. Just gotta make sure I have the extra funds lined up when/if I ever tackle this, cause I have a feeling it is going to be one of those addictions that isn't going to go well with my OCD once I start buying them up.

I toyed with the idea of completing those little guys. I just still got other things on my list. G1-junkie, do you happen to have a list of all the decoys made? And are there specific jap ones?

Always loved the decoys. Never had more than one or two but it's something I've been wanting to get to.

    Congrats!

I had no idea windcharger was "rare", is there any facts on that or just the harder one for you to find? (he was one of the originals I got as a kid..him and f-ing skids) when I bought my combiner limbs I never thought to pick one with good decoys so I ended up with skids prowl bluestreak windcharger and brawn. (now I have a fairly decent amount of em at least)

The Giftset reissues are not numbered the same as the originals. Just a heads up.

I'm pretty sure the rarity of the characters vary. Those were just the ones I had trouble finding...

From what I understand, the original Japanese Decoys share the same #s as the original American releases; the Reissue Japanese Giftset Decoys do not.
