These colors just dont look right on this one and cant justify the price for this one or the other as well.

 

Alt modes look great and are a great homage to G1. Bot modes look somewhere between "meh" and "ok" because the color similarities make them look the same (even with the vastly different silhouettes), but they still share that G1 look and feel. Combined, however, it doesn't look too great. It's a nice homage overall, but I like the different colors from the first Legends Devs.

Considering it is already in US packaging, I'd say it has a good chance of coming to the US

 

Meh. I've passed on the WM one until clearance. I know that it's not a bad deal technically, but it sits right next to things that are bigger, for less. This version just plays up how much this thing is NOT the devastator we've always loved.

 

Colors look good! Why won't Hasbro bring this out in the US. Maybe she will...

 

Maybe so, but keep in mind toys like TFTM Black Arcee, TFTM Incinerator, ROTF Buster OP, and the individually-carded Legends Constructicons.

 

Yeah, the original Constructicons came in blister packs that were the same, except in Japanese, as the Hasbro Legends figures.

Also, I really like the Silver on his face, makes it look like the green paint was scraped off. They should have added that sparsely to random parts of every bot.

 

Got an e-mail from BBTS saying that my preorder for this bad boy is now filled, so it looks like if you want him you'll be getting him soon enough.

I just can't get over the head-at-crotch-height look of these things.

 

The individual modes look pretty slick, but he just looks...wrong...in combined mode. Maybe a purple face woulda helped?

 

They can paint it red and white and call it an Aerial Bot and it will still be a lame figure!

 

Today is the release date of this G1 Devy(and some other ROTF figures).
I got mine some hours ago, looks neat.  

 

I have no reason to get this at all since I just picked up the regular version and I have a rule about not buying repaints that aren't screen accurate.

But damn.. it's tempting.

Looks awesome. And ugly. It can be both.

I admit, I love combiners that all have the same general color scheme... like Piranacon... and to some extent, Superion. So this guy just became a must get for me.

How tall does it stand (for those of you in ownership of the ROTF color model)?

 

About the height of a smallish deluxe. Maybe 5.5 inches or so?

And he's a great figure.
