i found this digest sized collected comics (priced roughly same as the generations book) of b&w reprints of g1 jap comics, from g1 to masterforce i believe.

anybody else has this/has info on this? i'd have pick it up immediately if not for my jap-illiteracy.

i believe spengler dude was posting the translation for these. i like the art actually but the stories look hokey. theres this one where all the minibots were like combined to powerglise, wtf.

Yummy. But this concept would never come out of a Japanese mind :lol

I hope someone will come up with the info about the comic before it's too late.

And from that same site, here are some translated issues:

    http://www.tfarchive.com/comics/japanese/

I translate em at random, really, just picking the ones that seem of the most interest. I'll probably never translate the whole book or anything.

Off topic but what's the politically correct word to use in place of "N"...if I assume that the "N" word what it really stands for...

I don't know what black people prefer to be called in your part of the world but in the US, the politically correct term is African American.

Is calling someone from Japan a "jap" any worse than calling someone from England a "brit"? Also, is it offensive when used as an abreviation of Japanese, as when describing something from the country (Ex: games, comics, etc)? I'm not Japanese so I really don't know how they feel about the term.

Ok thanks for the anwer, dude. We use the term "African Americans" too. I wanted to be careful as I don't want to offend anyone here.

I'm also puzzled why is it offensive to call a Japanese, "Jap"? What about Americans? Is the term "Yanks" offensive? If it is, no offence and any moderater can delete my pose. I'm just curious that's all.

On the other hand, the people who are part of a minority are usually not the ones insisting on using the "politically correct" term for their group...

Aren't Martin Luther King's speeches being censored when they're being taught in schools because King frequently makes use of the word "negro"?

I'm usually calling them "black", and I rarely ever heard of any black American using the term "African American".

Though political correctness hit a new low with the term "vertically challenged"... :rolleyes2

    http://www.superdickery.com/propaganda/1.html

Anyhoo, "Brits" and "Yankees" aren't derogatory because... those groups aren't minorities. :rolleyes2

Although I guess "gringo" isn't exactly politically correct either...
