Each of these are based off of either unreleased, comic only, or protoype G1 Cassettes. This was a commission for finishing off his collection. I had a little trouble with the decals, but in person it's negligible. Payback Bolts Enemy (articulated) Stripes Nightstalker
HipHop (my original character, and gift to commissioner) and Stinger Haven't figured a good name for the gestalt mode, but Hop-Sting is there for now. since stinger was a scorpion cassette in the G1 draft I made the extra Beastbox into a frog to make them somewhat linked to this Fairytale.
Cool. I made a character for Universe Blaster called HipHop when I started making customs. He wasn't as cool as yours is though Edit: Found the thread with the character if you wanted to see it. That was a long time ago XD- http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/209272-classics-2-0-blasters-bomb-bots.html
AHHH Squaktalk to Scorpion conversion is brilliant! These are all great though! I recognize Enemy, but are the other non-modded color schemes from someplace in particular?
very cool!!!! call the combiner "hipsting" some of the colors damn near scream g2 unreleased,in a very slick way!!!
well Stripes was supposed to be a tiger, Playback is G1 marvel, Stinger had no color scheme but the commissioner wanted MK Scorpion colors, HipHop was all my choice, Bolts is a combo of Eject/Rewind, and Night stalker was by request a dark blue ravage. I used 2 colors of blue, then gave him a blue wash over them.
Hip-Hop + Stinger Hip + Stinger Hip + st + er Haha, Hipster. He needs a PBR and some bad music taste.
couldn't glue anything on, as those holes are for the gestlaat mode, but I hear ya, I did toy around with the idea.
Just wanted to mention that decals and figures do look alot better in person. Look a bit shinny/different in pics. Props to alpha for completing. And a lil background on each figure, just as an fyi for anyone who cares. Wanted to see some of the figures, I never saw get an official release, atleast get some of the love they deserve. Wouldv'e been cool to see a few of these in the official lineup. Plus I'm a big fan of all things cassettes. Trying to collect them all, including all the little variants and knockoffs. Felt these figures would compliment the collection. And they'll look good when I get that camera out for that cassetticon army/group pic I been planning. Still a work in progress as still missing some figures but hopefully some day, not too far off in foreseeable future. Left out Enemy from below list since most people probably know he's just a take on the MC-01 variant from the Microchange line. Assumed I'd never get that variant so asked alpha to make me one. Short time after commission ended up finding one. Heh. Still happy with his articulation. Thanks again sir. •Name: Nightstalker Affiliation: pre autobot/decepticon. good guy. How'd I miss these Alpha? They turned out amazing, and the combiner extra is quite impressive. HipHop...nice one!
