    Hey guys,

Here is another custom that I have been working on, it is painted to resemble it's G1 counterpart.

I also have been experimenting with a new painting style, it is hard to see, but I wanted to add different shades to create depth and bring out detail, similar to gundam style painting.

Hope you guys like it, let me know.

These colors look so much better than the dull gold scheme. Nicely done.

I like it..his head needs a little bit more 'weathering' to match the rest of your yellow but all the same I love it.

Great paint job, but the face looks just a little off to me, he looks like an ape in ski goggles.

    Seconded.

This too. Perhaps if you made the 'nostrils' more subtle? I think that's what gives it the monkey look - they're too dark.

Overall though you've done a great job. I really like the style of painting you mentioned in the intro... subtle but effective. Would I be right in thinking you used acrylics?

Nice man, keep at that method you're experimenting with because they'll only start looking better as you learn to master it man!

What shade of yellow did you use? It almost looks golden.

    Yup, you got it!!!

It was painted in a sunshine yellow, then I shaded it with a clear orange.
