    Ebay:
This piece was intented as a display articulated statue, so I totally discarded the alt mode from the beginning. Without the truck mode limit, I was able to let go my imagination and concentrate only in giving this Prime the coolest robot mode possible.

That being said, here's a breakdown of all the mods:
    * I removed his backpack, knees panels and forearms panels, I replaced those with other parts of the truck mode, for a bulkier look.

    * He now sports longer smokestacks, attached to his new broader and more G1ish shoulders.

    * I used about 6-7 parts to form his new crotch piece (kind of a movie/G1 hybrid look)

    * 2 panels were added to cover all the excess of details on the sides of his torso.

    * His waist is now articulated, not 360 due to the red lever, but it does rotate enough to achieve some cool poses.

    * The lever now only moves his head and not all the chest panels, to activate the electronic system (lights are not visible anymore, since the paint job covers al the translucid parts). I glued the chest panels, so they don't get loose when handling him.

    * I gave him a new truck grill, more G1ish than the movie one.

    * Back to his legs, I added rubber tires, mudflaps and gas tanks to complete the G1 look.

    * Fully articulated hands.

    * Interchangeable right hand that comes attached to a G1 custom blaster rifle.

And as a little nostalgic nod, I added a rub symbol on his chest.

I used some stills from Transformers: The Movie as reference for the cell shading pattern, and some details on his legs/feet were taken from the G1 toy, I also airbrushed some shading on the red parts, for a deeper look and I gave him a couple of washes to bring out the details.

This looks wicked cool!! Just my opinion, I would've brought out more darker details in the exhaust stacks and also would've added the horizontal grill lines but like I said, this is Very, very cool!

This looks like THE perfect hybrid of G1/Movie/Animated Prime. It looks like it would fit in perfectly with the upcoming "Transformers: Prime" animated series that starts in October.

Again, the cartoon-style windows that you do are amazing and the colors are spot-on.

    Great job!

I love the cartoon shading you paint on these things.

That said, I have two crits: the shoulders look REALLY under-detailed next to everything else, and the legs are a tad on the skinny side. (not to mention contrast by remaining over-detailed)

Looks like it would fit right in with the IDW comic book.

    Brilliant!

I'm not into the rub symbol, but it's pretty much perfect otherwise.

WOw, I love your style. This is the best rotf prime I've seen so far. I love the idea. I agree with nemesis tho about the grill, even though its sick either way. I think if the head were a little bulkier though it would be better, it looks a tad unporportioned with the shoulders. Still, this is amazing. Great work.

For some reason I look at him and I just here "It's clobbering time!" This guy doesn't rip faces off - he implodes them. Awesome job on the paint - your cel-shade look is fantastic.
