    Can you two please remove the link to that image? WE ALL KNOW what Animated looks like, and we certainly don't need a Texas-sized image for demonstration.

    Of course it is superficial. It was a direct correlation on how something LOOKS.

    It just goes to show that TF was more about the toys for G1 than the show. The show was not that good but the toys were ahead of their time. I didn't care if a fig was on the show or not and had no bearing on the purchase. I think it also shows a reason to reboot the franchise with G1 style characters and start fresh with a GI Joe Resolute type theme.

    It all boils down to what you want in a show. When I want a deep meaningful movie I want Godfather. When I want a comedy I watch Happy Gilmore. Inherently complex music? Bach. Punk with attitude? Sex Pistols. When I want to watch robots fighting an intergalactic war I want to see cool-looking robots fighting that war not guys who are supposed to be robots but look nothing like them. Shelf you might be fine with Transformers that don't look machine-like and that is fine for you but for me I just can't stand the look.

    If they'd have just understood the unfathomable awesomeness, they would have just made the whole series about His awesomeness, Sideswipe. Maybe then we could avoid irritating reviews by people who are so overwhelmed by His awesomeness that they make mistakes like publishing crappy reviews. Don't worry, Sideswipe loves them too!
