Here are the shots I took of my G1 collection a few months ago. They've been boxed up now (most are re-issues) to make room for the BT/MP collection (scan further down for those).

Solid collection. Are those G1's a mix of KO's and reissues? Just wondering how good I am at spotting the differences.

    Thanks for the feedback!

KOs - Mirage (perfect), Swoop (not so much), Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy and Ratbat. All the other G1's are Reissue or mint original (very proud of my near-perfect condition Jetfire and Shockwave).

The BT Prowl was made from BT Prowl's head, BT* Alert's body and Alternator Ricochets limbs. No painting required (my kind of kitbash).

Oh, I also have the Japanese Classics Hot Rod, Prowl, Sideswipe, Hound, Bumblebee and Sunstreaker but they're back in their boxes. They just don't do it for me the way the original G1 toys or the BT toys do... Though scale wise I love how they look next to the MP Seekers!

Not only is it a great collection and that most look almost brand new, but they're well displayed and well posed. I usually just toss mine on a shelf without really giving them a good pose. Nicely done.

Very nice collection, I love the G1 stuff but your MP and Alts look very nice in those shelves. Very clean!

All I'm waiting for is MP Soundwave and Shockwave to stand either side of Megatron - then I'd die happy!

On the G1 front - I still need a perfect condition Springer, the encore minibots, Octane, Bluestreak, Beachcomber and Rodimus Prime. I need to stick some brand new reprolabels onto Cyclonus and Scourge too. I may get the encore cassettes. No bothered about the G1 combiners. Had Superion and Bruticus as a child and their scale bugs me (funny really when to take into account I already have triple changers and minibots on display).

So other than that - and any other future MP or, heaven forbid, BT releases - I'm done. Finished. Complete...

Unless I get my dream 1/32 G1 inspired line where EVERYONE is in scale... But I can't see that happening... No matter how awesome 40cm tall seekers would be! :)

Thanks again for the kind words. I go with the mantra of quality over quantity, try to vary the display now and again and yes - I take care keeping the toys fairly free of dust and posed. Next time I have a spare weekend I mean to set out all the MP/BTs in alt mode on the dining room table... Ready to roll out...

    Steve.
