Did the G1 combaticons/bruticus come in a gift box like the other combiners (superion, menasor devastator etc) or were they all sold seperately. Thanks

I believe that the early combiners all had giftsets, and Bruticus was among those that had one. I remember seeing it on the shelves. But we're talking memories that's over two and a half decades ago... So you know... Can't be 100% certain.

Exactly, I remember having the combaticons when I was a kid but I cant remember if it was a gift set or individual pieces. I remember my other combiners like superion and devastator were gift sets

Evidence is thin on the ground.

The giftset was released in Italy and with packaging rather close in appearance to US releases.

I remember buying the Combaticons each and never seen the gift set. But I do remember seeing the Superion gift set at a Sears years ago.
